چکیده
Studies have been carried out to investigate the removal of crystal violet (CV) cationic dye by using rice husk which was used as a raw material prepare activated carbon (AC) and it treated with anionic surfactant. In this process, AC three different surfactants, namely, lauryl sulfate ACMAS, ACSDS, ACHTAB. Characterization analysis optimum ACMAS were done techniques proves adsorption ACMAS. Effects various physical parameters like time contact, additive salts, initial concentration, effect pH, adsorbent dose studied. Minute changes in capacity observed due presence cations. Cations NO2- caused an increase but cations Fe2+decreased sample solution. The effectiveness film diffusion intraparticle has shown mass transfer parameters. kinetic studies that pseudo second-order study best suited experimental data. Error isotherms equilibrium controlled Langmuir isotherm maximum CV 235.7 mg/g. Thermodynamics revealed endothermicity process negative ΔG values positive id="M2">ΔS id="M3">ΔH values. Activation energy 48.31 kJ/mol suggested chemisorption system. Column models variation bed depth, flow rate, etc. Regeneration experiments given ability be reused. present study, noticed use surfactant-treated significantly improved is not much attention for research till date.
